Proton Aurora Blob and SAR arc above
The 12 December was a very special night, with the aurora very active throughout several hours. It kicked off early around 5pm and soon after STEVE made an appearance. Later I moved to Sandsayre over on the eastside where some Proton Aurora Blogs and a SAR arc made an appearance. Both rare and to the south of the aurora. Blobs can appear in front of the aurora.
It was good to have a clear night and both areas to myself.
Don't forget my new book, available through next year as well. It is a large A4 sized hardback with 214 pages and over 140 photos with lots of information. email :shetaurorabook@gmail.com for you are interested- £30 (Sale Price) + postage
